my dadd & me

Wow, I'm sitting on the floor,
crying,
missing my daddy SOOOOOOOOOOOO much.
I wish I was there so I could bug him while I played with his hair or messed with his ears, or gave him a kiss on his scruffy beard.
I know some of you don't know my dad ( or me :)) but I just want to tell you a little bit about him, and how wonderful he is :).
First of all, let me say, he has made mistakes, heartbreakingly painful ones. While my momma and I have suffered, he has suffered even more for them. However, in spite of all this, his integrity, faith, and strength has changed my life in it's own unique way. He has fought to make things right, he has stepped up and owned up to his mistakes, even suffered humiliation for them.
Praise the Lord!!, God has renewed him :)
He is a new man now, a strong man!
He guides and corrects me when I am wrong.
He supports me when I'm right.
He tells the cheesiest jokes and then laughs at them.
He loves to sing, loudly :)
He thinks he can dance, haha.
I don't tell him this, but HIS opinion is the most important to me.
I love talking about life with him, he has good things to say.
He has the best stories, even if I've heard them all 100 times.
He loves God SO much!
He's in love with my momma :)
He drives fast an fun, hehe.
He loves Mexico.
He has the BIGGEST heart for people.
I am beaming with pride today, I can say that I know one of the godliest men and he just so happens to be my very own daddy.

Baby Doll, I love you!! I wept as I read, and re-read your blog today. Many times I feel so undeserving of your or your mothers love. You have no idea what you wrote meant to me. I hope that I can live up to being the man that you described.
One of my greatest joys is having you as my daughter!
